Bawley Point is the northern gateway to the Murramarang National Park; a unique coastal park protecting the beautiful Spotted Gum, and a must for nature lovers. Take a short drive from the park and you will find Pebbly Beach and its famous "surfing kangaroos" – a huge kangaroo population that are happy to be patted and pose for photos. You will find Mount Durras, from which there are magnificent views over the coast and hinterland. Other National Parks only a short drive away include the Budawang National Park, Bimberamala National Park and the spectacular Morton National Park with Pigeon House Mountain.
